Hepatitis B profile

HBsAg : positive means viral presence and can infect others.


 HBsAb : positive means immunity due to clinical recovery or past infection.


 HBeAg : positive means higher viral titre and means active virus in the liver or a stage of viral replication.


 HBeAb : positive  means no viral replication or a stage of HBeAg seroconversion.


 HBcAb : positive means current infection or previous infection.
